Disney bookends phase with the excellent Agatha All Along

Ok folks. Lets be real. This phase of the Marvel universe was... meh? I enjoyed each film but have to acknowledge the floundering that happened. "Multiverse of Madness" was a massive letdown. "The Marvels" was great but could have used a better antagonist. However I was looking forward to this phase as "Wandavision" just set things up so perfectly. While the movies of this phase might have been middling, the phase is being capped off with Agatha All Along. We get to revisit Agatha post Wandavision and see what happened to her. So far the series has been excellent. At the time of this post we're three episodes in. I won't talk about this more as you absolutely need to go into this series cold.

However Disney does need some criticism. Between Star Wars and Marvel it feels like Disney is spamming content too fast. Lets not forget it took 20 some years to get the first 6 Star Wars movies out. Some of the best content in the property have been animated and made for TV. "The Clone Wars" cartoon was the best thing to come out of the prequel series and "Rebels" has been excellent. The Lego properties while silly have been excellent. The live action have been massively hot or not. Mando rocks hard while Kenobi was just slow.

Disney needs to reexamine what gets turned into a TV series and what gets made into a movie. Kenobi trimmed down would have made an excellent movie. On the Marvel side "The Elementals" should have been a series as there was too much content for a film. It feels like Disney is starting to recognize this as some of their promised series have been translated into films such as "Armor Wars".

However. Lets be clear. Inclusion is not the problem here. Having women lead such as "The Marvels" or LGBTQIA+ characters as in "The Acolyte" aren't cause for concern and should be applauded. It's amazing to me how the "Guns don't kill people" crowd are sure that a TV series is going to turn people gay.

TAKE ACTION:

The next time you encounter someone complaining about inclusion on TV tell them to pull their head out of their ass. Also, if you have a Pi-Hole add our block list to help filter out toxic conservative voices.
